Residence 9 can also be considered for design specifications in Conservation Areas. R9 accommodates 28mm double or 44mm triple glazing with market leading thermal and acoustic performance and achieves one of the highest classifications on weather test due to its robust design. Every Residence 9 window is tailor-made to requirements, customising everything including the style, colour and hardware. All Residence 9 mechanical joints are hand-finished by individuals who are masters of their trade. Beautiful French and external doors are also available.

Protect your house from the elements with stylish, modern tile roofing

If you’re in the Belfast or Derby areas, and your current roof has seen better days, it’s time for a brand new roof from Emerald. That’s right, we’re a roofing supplier too – and our many happy customers will confirm that we’re really rather good at it! Just take a look at our reviews below… As part of our standard roofing installation, we’ll get rid of all old roofing materials before we start any work. That way, you’re starting with a blank canvas, and there’s no debris or risk of previous issues continuing. Our first step is to add a layer of breathable roofing felt. This provides insulation against the elements, keeps out water, and gives a uniform surface to lay tiles on. Once that’s in place, we add roof battens on top, and then the roofing tiles. Finally, we install the ridge tiles, using a dry ridge system in compliance with British Standards. This means that no sand or cement mortar is used. Dry ridge systems allow for better ventilation, lower maintenance and reduced risk of storm damage. We never use towers or ladders. All our roofers use fixed scaffold systems. This ensures your safety, as well as our own.
